Goal
You lead pack ponies between nine mountain villages. Carry goods from the village that
makes them to a village that wants them, and get paid. The richest trader wins.
The goods
Every village makes one good, and you can load it there for nothing.
Wants and falling prices
- A village shows what it wants and what it will pay. The prices are a row: the
left one is what you get now.
- Every crate delivered takes the left price away, so the next one pays less.
Everybody chasing the same want is paid worse for it.
- When a want is used up it goes, and new wants appear as the rounds pass.
- A village never wants the good it makes, and the further a village is from a source,
the more it pays.
Your turn
- Walk: tap a village you can reach. Its cost in steps is shown on the button.
- Load: at a village that makes a good, tap it and choose Load.
- Sell: at a village that wants what you carry, tap it and choose Sell.
- One loading or selling stop costs one step, however many crates it moves. That
is what makes bigger packs worth having.
- Tap End turn when you are done. Steps do not carry over.
The weather
- Snow closes a pass from time to time. A closing pass is marked two rounds before it
shuts, so you always have warning: plan around it.
- A shut pass is drawn broken, with the rounds until it opens again.
- The weather never cuts a village off completely.
Spending your coin
Tap Spend on your turn. Coin you spend is coin you no longer score, so an upgrade
has to earn its price back before the game ends.
On screen
- The chips at the top show every trader's coin. Tap one to see their ponies and packs.
- Tap any village to inspect it, whether you can reach it or not.
- Your ponies are the markers under a village; tap one, or use the buttons at the
bottom, to choose which pony you are moving.
- Game info in the ⋯ menu has the scores and the full record.
