Your colour applies from the next game.
Each player starts with 12 pieces on the dark squares, Dark or Light. Dark moves first. Pieces only ever stand on dark squares.
Move one piece one square diagonally forward to an empty square. Tap a piece, then a dot.
If an opponent's piece is diagonally in front of yours with an empty square behind it, jump over it and take it off the board. If the piece that jumped can jump again, it must keep going in the same turn (a multi-jump): tap each landing square in turn.
Capturing is compulsory. When you can capture, you must, and the pieces that can capture glow. If there are several captures you may choose any of them.
A piece that reaches the far side becomes a king (it gets a crown) and its turn ends. Kings move and capture one square diagonally in any direction, forwards or backwards.
You win when your opponent can't move on their turn, because all their pieces are gone or blocked.
The game is a draw if the same position comes up for the third time with the same player to move, or after 40 moves each with no capture and no ordinary piece moved.
The last move's path is traced on the board. Undo and the other options are in the ⋯ menu.
